Getting connected
Plans, subscriptions and routes
Choose your data allowance, then add the subscription to your client. Each step has a corresponding option in the user panel.
01
Choose a plan
Create an account with a username and password; no email address is required. For regular use, explore monthly plans. If your usage schedule varies, compare traffic packs that last until used. Check the capacity and billing method before making your selection in the panel.

02
Import a subscription
After signing in, open the client download page and get the client for your system. Then retrieve your subscription from the panel and import it. Your subscription URL is an account credential: keep it on your own devices and hide the full URL in screenshots before sharing.
Example subscription URL; not for connectinghttps://example.com/sub?token=xxxx
03
Choose a route and connect
After updating the subscription, select a destination in the client and connect. Open a commonly used webpage to check access, then test the apps you need. For connection issues, check your network, subscription, route and app settings one by one.

When setting up for the first time, keeping the client's default settings makes issues easier to pinpoint. Once connected, adjust routing rules as needed for your apps; avoid changing every option at once.
Check connection quality on your own network. Review device, data, privacy and refund terms before getting started.
Speed and peak-hour stability
Check how well a connection performs during peak hours on your own network. VPNPack offers international route plans; when choosing a route, consider how familiar websites load, how well access holds up over time and how apps respond—not just a single speed test. Routes in the same region can perform differently depending on your local network and destination. Test a connection during your usual usage hours and keep the routes that work for you. If performance drops, check your local network first, then compare another route rather than assuming the client is at fault.

No logs
VPNPack's privacy policy states that it keeps no logs. You can create an account with a username and password, without an email address, reducing the information needed to get started. Treat your subscription URL as an account credential: keep it secure and never post it in public discussions or share an unredacted screenshot. When troubleshooting, share the client message, the situation and the route name—not your full subscription. Privacy policies and device security have their own limits, so keep an eye on website permissions, account sign-ins and local file management after connecting.

Unlimited devices online
Switch between computers and mobile devices without having to choose which devices get a slot. VPNPack allows unlimited devices online. Install the appropriate client on each device and import your account subscription. Device count and data capacity are separate rules: unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data. When choosing a plan, consider your overall usage across devices. Video, file transfers and background tasks can all affect data use, so check your subscription status and usage in the panel regularly and adjust capacity as needed.

Access to AI tools
Access to tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini depends on network connectivity, account status and the destination platform's regional rules. VPNPack offers international routes; choose a region based on the service requirements, then check that the website, sign-in and conversations work as expected. A successful connection does not guarantee access to every feature on the destination platform or include its paid benefits. Keep your region selection consistent where possible. If you see an access notice, read the platform's original guidance before deciding whether to change routes or app routing.

Streaming and region selection
Streaming depends on more than whether the homepage opens. Account region, content rights, how the exit route is identified and playback stability can all matter. After connecting through a VPNPack international route, check the content in your own streaming account; a region name alone does not guarantee that content will be available. If the catalog differs or playback shows a notice, review the platform guidance and account requirements, then check whether the client routes the app as expected. For longer viewing sessions, keep an eye on your plan balance so background downloads and streaming do not use data at the same time.

7-day refunds for any reason
Connection quality depends on your local network, time of use and destination apps, so allow time to test whether the service suits your needs. VPNPack offers 7-day refunds for any reason; see the refund policy for the process. After getting started, test the connection on your usual devices and network early rather than waiting until you need it for an important task. If an issue occurs, note the error message and circumstances, then submit a ticket through the user panel. Describe subscription status, connection issues and refund requests separately to help with handling.

Routes provide the connection; destination platforms control account and content access. Checking these rules separately can help you identify the cause of access issues faster.

Choose a region, then compare performance
For general web browsing, start with a route that suits your local network. If a destination service has regional requirements, use them to narrow your options. Geographic distance is only one factor; carrier routing and the destination server can also affect the connection. Comparisons using the same device, network and task are more useful than one-off results from different conditions.
Keep troubleshooting details
If a website opens but an app does not, check whether the app follows the expected routing rule. If access fails across the board, check the subscription update, system proxy and local network. Note the route name, client message and time of the issue; do not include passwords or a full subscription URL in ticket attachments. See the troubleshooting guide for a systematic approach.
Get clients and subscriptions from the user panel. Sign in to retrieve a subscription. Clients are available for non-iOS platforms after signing in; iOS access depends on an eligible plan shown in the panel.
Windows
Get the client after signing in, import your subscription and check the system proxy status.
After importing, update your subscription and then choose a route. Changing devices does not mean changing accounts; use the current subscription provided in the panel on each device. If the connection fails after a system update or permission change, check the client's authorization and proxy settings again.
Monthly data resets each month on the activation date. Mid-cycle upgrades convert the price difference into remaining days. Choose capacity based on total usage, not device count.

Traffic packs last until used and never expire. Their terms differ from monthly plans, where data resets each month. Compare how often you use the service before choosing a billing option.

Compare capacity and billing period
First consider whether your usage is regular, then compare capacity. For frequent use, manage data around the monthly reset cycle. If use is less regular, consider a traffic pack that never expires. Device count is not a substitute for data usage: browsing text and streaming video can consume very different amounts on the same device.
Payment and refund terms
Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are accepted, with 7-day refunds for any reason. Before paying, check the plan name, capacity and billing method in the panel. A mid-cycle upgrade converts the price difference into remaining days; it does not automatically restart a full billing period. See the full plan and refund policies for details.
Learn about client permissions, connection checks and what to review before paying. Choose an article for the issue at hand; there is no need to learn every networking term first.
Start with Android: install a client, import a subscription, grant VPN permissions, add it to the battery-optimization allowlist and verify that the connection works.
Set up macOS from scratch: install the client, grant system permissions, import a subscription, verify the connection and resolve common permission prompts.
Spot overselling, inflated route counts, signs a service may disappear and unresponsive support. Check refund terms, payment options and support channels before paying.
If installation is complete but access still fails, use the troubleshooting guide to match your symptoms. Check the basic network first, then the subscription, client settings and destination app. Before submitting a ticket, list the steps you have tried to reduce back-and-forth.
